Abstract: An NMS(Network Management System) capable of storing node coordinates according to operators and a method thereof are provided to enable operators to arrange the same nodes differently according to their management fields by storing coordinate information for each node according to operators and displaying node icons according to the coordinates stored by each operator. An NMS capable of storing node coordinates according to operators comprises a network management server(20), a network management client(10), and a database(30). The network management server classifies and stores the coordinates of node icons according to operators. If an arbitrary operator logs in, the network management server outputs the node icon coordinate information corresponding to the arbitrary operator. The network management client receives node icon coordinate information from the network management server displays node icons on the received coordinates. The database stores operator IDs, node names, node icon file names, and node icon location coordinates.

Abstract: A method for testing a semiconductor package is provided to test the semiconductor package stably irrespective of the sort of the semiconductor package by controlling the drop height of a handler using a contact signal which is applied to a contact terminal. A method for testing a semiconductor package includes the steps of: determining the sort of the semiconductor package(S310); transmitting a contact signal to all contact terminals(S320); dropping a handler with a predetermined first stroke based on the sort of the semiconductor package(S330); determining whether a predetermined number of contact terminals are in contact with the semiconductor package through the contact signal(S340); dropping the handler with a predetermined second stroke irrespective of the sort of the semiconductor package if the contact terminals are in contact with the semiconductor package(S350); and transmitting a detection signal to the contact terminals if the drop of the handler is completed(S360).

Abstract: An NMS(Network Management System) for displaying information of an unequipped slot and a method thereof are provided to enable a network manager to manage the network conveniently/stably by storing the unequipped slot information of a plurality of NEs(Network Element) to an MIB(Management Information Database), and output the stored unequipped slot information and contents of an event when the event for the unequipped slot is generated. An MIB stores the information of the unequipped slots of the NEs. An MFss(Message Function subsystem) outputs the unequipped slot information stored in the MIB and the contents of the event when the event for the unequipped slot is generated. A type of the unequipped slot is set and stored as blank. The MFss updates the information of an equipped unit to the MIB when an event message, which is generated when the unit is equipped to the unequipped slot, is received. The slot information stored in the database is at least one of an ID, an alias, and the type of each NE.
