Abstract: 본 발명은 DVB-H 단말기에서 IP 플랫폼 전환시 IP 플랫폼 전환이 신속하게 이루어질 수 있도록 제어하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 DVB-H(Digital Video Broadcasting- Handheld) 단말기에서 IP 플랫폼 전환 제어 방법에 있어서, 특정 IP(Internet Protocol) 플랫폼 선택이 있으면 선택된 IP 플랫폼에 대한 ESG(Electronic Service Guide)를 다운로딩 하면서, 현재 서비스 가능한 IP 플랫폼에 대한 ESG를 백그라운드로 다운로딩 하여 저장하는 제1 과정과, 상기 선택된 IP 플랫폼에 대한 ESG 다운로드가 완료되면, 다운로드 된 ESG를 이용하여 서비스 채널 리스트를 생성하고, 상기 생성된 서비스 채널 리스트와 함께 현재 서비스 가능한 IP 플랫폼의 이름을 표시하는 IP 플랫폼 아이콘들을 화면에 함께 표시하는 제2 과정과, 상기 IP 플랫폼 아이콘들 중 하나가 선택되면, 해당 IP 플랫폼에 대한 ESG 다운로드 완료 여부에 따라 해당 ESG를 이용하여 서비스 채널 리스트를 생성한 후 화면에 표시하는 제3 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for providing broadcast service to terminal in a mobile broadcast system and a mobile broadcast system thereof are provided to confirm the purchasing or cancel purchasing for the purchase made by web base with a broadcasting service terminal. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting server(20) manages the purchase list including the information about all broadcast services. The registration request text message about all broadcast services included in the purchase list is created to transmit to a terminal(30). All broadcast services comprises a broadcast service which the terminal buys to the web based purchasing mode. The terminal confirms the purchase list included in the text message to process the registration stage about all broadcast services included in the short message. The terminal records the information about the broadcast service in which the registration stage operates in the purchase list.

Abstract: A method for controlling changing of an IP platform in a DVB-H(Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld) terminal is provided to allow a user to use previously configured data in selectively changing an IP(Internet Protocol) platform to reduce a user standby time. When one of currently service-available IP platforms is selected(400), a controller downloads an ESG(Electronic Service Guide) corresponding to the selected IP platform(402). The controller generates a service channel list by using the ESG and displays the service channel list on a display unit(404). The controller checks whether the user selects the change of an IP platform(406). When the change of an IP platform is selected, the controller checks whether downloading of ESG with respect to the changed IP platform has been completed(408). If the ESG has been downloaded and stored in a memory, the controller checks whether the stored ESG is the latest version(412). If the ESG is the latest version, the controller generates a corresponding service channel list by using the downloaded ESG(416).
