    Abstract: PURPOSE: A color space determination device and a video display device including the same are provided to provide a color space signal by determining a color space of an input video signal in real time based on the resolution of the input video signal. CONSTITUTION: A color space determination device(100) includes a sampling configuration unit(110) and a determination unit(120). The sampling configuration unit receives the resolution(RES) of input video signals(I_DATA) from the outside. The sampling configuration unit determines the number of sampling frames(S_FNUM) and a sampling ratio(S_RATIO) based on the resolution of the input video signals. A register(111) stores the predetermined sampling ratios and the number of the sampling frames. The determination unit receives the input video signal from the outside.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: System on chip (SOC), operating method thereof and mobile device having the same are provided to reduce power consumption in panel self-refresh operation by confirming frame update about video image information providing and by controlling panel self-refresh operation of a display driver according to the confirmed result. CONSTITUTION: An update detection unit (300) receives a current frame from a memory and confirms whether the frame is updated from the previous frame. An interrupt module (101) generates an interrupt when the current frame is not updated. When the interrupt is generated, a display controller (100a) activates panel self-refresh operation of the display device. When the current frame is updated or a user event is generated, the display controller transmits the next frame to the display device and inactivates panel self-refresh operation of the display device.
