Abstract:
Disclosed are a method of recognizing a contactless user interface motion and an apparatus for the same. The apparatus for recognizing the contactless user interface motion according to the present invention includes a 3-D stereoscopic camera including first and second image sensors and photographing an object; a disparity calculator for creating a disparity map based on a first image taken by the first image sensor and a second image taken by the second image sensor; a position and brightness calculator for calculating the position of the object and the brightness information of the object from the disparity map; a depth calculator for calculating the depth information of the object based on the brightness information of the object and for calculating 3-D coordinates of the object by using the distance information and the position of the object; a speed calculator for calculating a speed from the 3-D coordinates of the object; and a pattern detector for detecting a user interface (UI) pattern of the object based on the 3-D coordinates and speed.

PURPOSE: A color space determination device and a video display device including the same are provided to provide a color space signal by determining a color space of an input video signal in real time based on the resolution of the input video signal. CONSTITUTION: A color space determination device(100) includes a sampling configuration unit(110) and a determination unit(120). The sampling configuration unit receives the resolution(RES) of input video signals(I_DATA) from the outside. The sampling configuration unit determines the number of sampling frames(S_FNUM) and a sampling ratio(S_RATIO) based on the resolution of the input video signals. A register(111) stores the predetermined sampling ratios and the number of the sampling frames. The determination unit receives the input video signal from the outside.

PURPOSE: A mobile device and a computing system including the same are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by performing UI about a host device without an I/O(Input/Output) device. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(SEN) includes a motion sensor for generating motion information of a mobile device and a touch sensor for generating touch information of a touch screen. The sensor outputs motion and touch information as sensing information. A USB UI(Universal Serial Bus User Interface) data generating unit converts the sensing information into USB UI data. An output unit outputs the USB UI data through USB communication.
