The identifying method of glycated protein in a sample includes the steps of: forming a matrix to which glycated protein is bound; separating non-glycated protein by eliminating a glycated protein-matrix complex, formed in the earlier step, from a reaction mixture; measuring signals from the non-glaycated protein; and comparing the measured signals of the earlier step with signals measured from a sample including glycated protein and non-glycated protein.
