    Abstract: PURPOSE: An electron donor polymer having a small band gap, and an organic solar battery including thereof are provided to absorb the wide wavelength area of light, and to improve the short circuit current density of the organic solar battery. CONSTITUTION: An electron donating polymer contains the following: a recurring unit-A including a compound selected from the group consisting of a recurring unit marked with chemical formula 1, a recurring unit marked with chemical formula 2, and their combination; and a recurring unit-B marked with chemical formula 3. The electron donating polymer contains the recurring unit-A and the recurring unit-B in a molar ratio of 1:1-1.4. The electron donating polymer has the number average molecular weight of 1,000-800,000.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An organic solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by forming both nano structure and electron blocking layer on an anode. CONSTITUTION: An anode(3) and a cathode(5) are formed on a substrate(1). A photoactive layer(11) is formed between the anode and the cathode. The photoactive layer comprises an electron donor(7), an electron receptor(9), and a nanostructure(19). An electron blocking layer(21) is formed between the anode and the photoactive layer. The nanostructure is in physical connection with the anode and contains a hole transferring material. The hole transferring material is selected from a group comprising semiconductive elements, semiconductive compound, semiconductive carbon materials, and the combination of the same.
