Abstract:
PURPOSE: An electron-donating polymer improves the optical current characteristic and efficiency of an organic solar battery. CONSTITUTION: An electron-donating polymer includes a repeating unit A represented by chemical formula 1 and a repeating unit B represented by chemical formula 2. The electron-donating polymer has a number-average molecular weight of 1,000-800,000 and a band gap of 1.2-1.8 eV. An organic solar cell (100) includes a first electrode (20), a second electrode (40) facing the first electrode; and a photoactive layer (30) which is located between the first electrode and the second electrode and includes an electron donor and an electron accepter. The electron donor includes the electron-donating polymer.

PURPOSE: An organic solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve lifetime by increasing a short circuit current density and a fill factor. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode faces a second electrode. A photoactive layer is positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode. The photoactive layer includes a photoactive material and an ultraviolet absorbing solution. The ultraviolet absorbing solution absorbs the light with wavelength of 100-400 nm and emits the light with wavelength of 150-500 nm.
