    Abstract: PURPOSE: An increasing formability method of magnesium alloy is provided to improve the moldability of the magnesium alloy by removing the basal texture which causes deterioration of magnesium alloy. CONSTITUTION: Energy is supplied to the surface of magnesium alloy. The texture of magnesium alloy is controlled. The energy is provided by emitting laser to the surface of the magnesium alloy. The Laser comprises the ytterbium fiber laser. The energy is supplied and fuses one part of magnesium alloy. The energy is supplied to the magnesium alloy in order to form non-directional texture.
