    Abstract: Provided is a fuel cell which uses a mixture of dimethyl ether and water and is improved in the electrochemical performance by allowing dimethyl ether and water to be mixed more easily. The fuel cell comprises an electrolyte membrane; a membrane electrode assembly which has a pair of porous electrodes installed at the both sides of the electrolyte membrane; an anode-side separator and a cathode-side separator where the membrane electrode assembly is put; a gas channel which is formed on the surface where the separator faces the membrane electrode assembly; and a rib which forms the gas channel, wherein a pair of interdigitated channels are formed on at least one of the two separators, the each interdigitated channel comprises a main channel and a plurality of branched channels, and the branched channel of the pair of the interdigitated channels are arranged alternately in the longitudinal direction of the main channel.
