Abstract: 본 발명은 영상 객체를 검출하는 기법에 관한 것으로, 입력 영상의 잡음을 제거하여 저장하고, 저장된 입력 영상의 크기를 조절하며, 크기가 조절된 입력 영상을 MCT 방식으로 변환한 후에, 그 변환 영상에서 MCT값을 이용하여 후보 영역을 검출하고, 검출된 후보 영역들 중에서 사람 영역을 결정하며, 결정된 사람 영역을 표시하여 출력함으로써, 입력 영상에서 영상 객체를 효과적으로 검출할 수 있는 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and method for an image outline are provided to perform feature point extraction with high reliability even in quantizing noise and complex images by applying a computer vision method and an image signal processing method. CONSTITUTION: A noise removing unit (11) removes noise generated from input images. An inclination calculator (12) calculates the inclination of the image without noise. An inclination intensity calculator (13) calculates the intensity of the inclination. An initial outline detector (14) detects initial outlines from the image without noise using the inclination and intensity in accordance with a first standard., A final outline extractor (15) extracts final outlines among the initial outlines on the basis of a second standard. Abstract: PURPOSE: An image object detecting apparatus and a method thereof through image process are provided to accurately recognize various kinds of person faces on one screen by applying an image processing and computer vision technique. CONSTITUTION: A black/white image converting block(2000) converts a color image into black/white image. A face detecting block(4000) detects a face from the black/white image. A color-based image output block(6000) combines determined person area with an image of a camera.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An image object detecting apparatus and method thereof are provided to increase the performance of person detection by converting an image into an MCT(Modified Census Transform) and to control the size of an input image. CONSTITUTION: A noise elimination block(100) partitions an input image into a plurality of domain frames and removes an image noise. An image size adjustment block(300) controls the size of an input image and transfers a second input image. A memory control block(200) outputs a first input image by extracting the stored image. The memory control block outputs the transferred second input image. An MCT block(400) partitions the second input image into a plurality of domain frames.
