Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for producing 9Z-hexadecenoic acid from Halomonas is provided to improve yield and to optimize isolation and purification of 9Z-Hexadecenoic acid. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing 9Z-Hexadecenoic acid comprises: a step of culturing Halomonas sp. marine microorganism strain; and a step of isolating a metabolite of the cultured strain and concentrating. The Halomonas sp. marine microorganism stain is Halomonas CCRB608(KCTC 11313BP). A method further comprises a chromatography.
