Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the solvent-free preparation of a fibre-reinforced resin-coated sheet comprising the following steps: (i) applying coating powder on a substrate selected from a woven or non-woven fabric, wherein the coating powder is charged by friction in the presence of magnetic particles and then transported by means of a fluidized bed and/or optionally one or more mixing rolls and subsequently transferred to and applied onto said substrate by means of an electric field between a brush drum and a substrate roll bearing said substrate, wherein said substrate is in intimate contact with a conductive or discharging sheet, (ii) melting and partially curing the layer of coating powder obtained on said substrate for the preparation of a fibre-reinforced resin-coated sheet.
