Abstract: An apparatus for recirculating leaked DME fuel for a high-pressure fuel pump for vehicles is provided to recirculate DME fuel leaking in a pump housing using driving force of a cam shaft which constitutes the high-pressure fuel pump. An apparatus for recirculating leaked DME fuel for a high-pressure fuel pump(1) for vehicles comprises a fuel recovery member(2). The fuel recovery member is operated by driving force of a cam shaft(12), which is provided in the high-pressure fuel pump, to return DME fuel to a fuel tank(6). The DME fuel leaks between a plunger(13) and a barrel(14) and remains in a pump housing(11). The fuel recovery member includes a purge pump(3), which is operated by driving force of the cam shaft, compresses the leaking DME fuel and then feeds the DME fuel to the fuel tank.
