Abstract: PURPOSE: An organic solar cell using perylene derivative is provided to ensure high photoelectric transformation efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An organic solar cell comprises an anode, a cathode, and at least one photoactive layer between the anode and cathode. The photoactive layer contains a hole acceptor, electron acceptor, and the perylene derivative of chemical formula 1. The organic solar cell further comprises an anode layer planarization layer between the photoactive layer and anode. The organic solar cell also comprises a cathode layer planarization layer between the photoactive layer and cathode.
