PURPOSE: A polymer optical waveguide and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve adhesion and regularity between a core layer and cladding interface. CONSTITUTION: An optical waveguide comprises a substrate(100), a lower cladding layer(110), a lower adhesion force increasing layer(120), a core layer(130), and an upper cladding layer(140). The lower cladding layer is formed on the substrate. The lower adhesion force increasing layer is formed on the lower cladding layer. The core layer is formed on the lower adhesion force increasing layer. The upper cladding layer is formed on the core layer. A hydroxyl group is introduced on lower cladding layer. The lower adhesion force increasing layer comprises a chemical reactor which reacts with the hydroxyl group, and adhesion force increasing agents having a double bond.

PURPOSE: A dye sensitized solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve photoelectric transformation efficiency by forming a silicon layer which includes silicon and alkali series metals using a deposition method. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(120) and a second electrode(150) are arranged to face each other. A semiconductor layer(130) is included between the first electrode and the second electrode. The semiconductor layer comprises a dye which creates an electron-hole pair and the silicon and alkali series metals. An electrolyte(140) is arranged between the second electrode and the semiconductor layer. The electrolyte transfers a hole which is formed in the semiconductor layer to the second electrode. A recombination secluding layer which prevents the recombination phenomenon of an electron is formed between the semiconductor layer and the first electrode.

PURPOSE: A copolymer and a solar cell including thereof are provided to use the copolymer as an electron-receptor or an electron donor forming a photo-active layer in the solar cell. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer includes a structure marked with chemical formula 1, the molecular weight of 10,000~30,000, and the distribution of the molecular weight of 1.5~5. A solar cell including the copolymer comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a photo-active layer formed with an electron-receptor and an electron donor in between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a hole injection layer located in between the positive electrode and the photo-active layer.

PURPOSE: An organic solar cell is provided to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency by controlling the morphology of an optical active layer. CONSTITUTION: Cathode is formed to be opposite to anode. At least one optical active layer is interposed between the cathode and the anode. The optical active layer includes a hole acceptor, an electron acceptor and a liquid crystal material. A planarization layer is formed between the optical active layer and the cathode. The anode or the cathode is formed on a glass, a plastic, a metal foil or a ceramic.

A power supply device is provided to increase the number of power boards, on which a circuit is designed, to supply power suitable for a change of the size of an LCD panel to a corresponding backlight, thereby preventing a loss of time and cost required to redesign a power circuit. A power supply device(100) is composed of plural power boards(110) having the same configuration for supplying power to each unit number of LEDs(Light Emitting Devices) among plural LEDs. Each of the power boards outputs a DC(Direct Current) voltage for driving the unit number of LEDs through a driving voltage. The power supply device adjusts the number of the power boards according to the size of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel.
