Abstract: The present invention relates to a driving simulator apparatus and to a driving rehabilitation training method using the same, the apparatus including a display unit that displays a previously set simulation traveling screen; a mode selection unit where a user can select from a general mode, an auxiliary mode, and a resist mode; and a control unit that controls a propelling force to be applied in a rotation direction of a steering handle operated by the user when the auxiliary mode is selected and controls a counter force to be applied in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the steering handle operated by the user when the resist mode is selected. According to the present invention, more effective driving rehabilitation training can be performed on a driver whose driving capability is impaired due to old age or brain lesions. Also, the auxiliary mode and the resist mode are added to the general mode in target pursuit training for spatial and temporal coordination, and thus a driving capability of a patient deteriorated due to physical and cognitive impairment can be recovered. Also, a program is configured according to the state of the patient requiring driving rehabilitation, and thus a recovery state following a continuous movement can be evaluated in comparison to the initial state of the patient. In addition, fun and interest can be aroused for the patient so that the patient can participate in the movement with high concentration.
