Abstract: 본 발명은 신규 합성한 카페인산(caffeic acid) 유도체 및 이를 포함하는 조성물을 제공한다. 본 발명은 본 발명의 신규 합성한 카페인산(caffeic acid) 유도체는 우수한 혈관신생 억제효과를 가진다. 본 발명의 신규 합성한 카페인산 유도체는 원물질인 카페인산과 비교하여 VEGF 유전자의 전사 활성을 억제하여 효과적으로 혈관신생을 억제한다. 이러한 VEGF 유전자의 전사 활성의 억제는 STAT3의 활성, 즉 STAT3 Tyr-705의 인산화를 억제함으로써, 다양한 약리학적 활성을 발휘한다. 보다 상세하게는, 본 발명의 유효성분인 카페인산 유도체는 STAT3 Tyr-705의 인산화, STAT3 신호 경로, 핵 내 이동 , VEGF 프로모터상의 STAT3/HIF-1a/p300사이의 전사 단위 형성를 억제하고, VEGF에 의해 유도되는 혈관내피세포의 증식, 이동, 혈관형성 및 종양 성장을 억제한다. 또한, 본 발명의 카페인산 유도체를 유효성분으로 하여 약제학적, 기능성 화장료(cosmeceutical), 화장료, 기능성 식품(neutraceutical) 또는 식품 조성물을 제조할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 조성물은 혈관신생과 염증성 아토피, 전선 등과 같은 피부염과 관련된 다양한 질병, 질환 또는 상태를 예방 또는 치료할 수 있다.

Abstract: A caffeic acid derivative is provided to obtain an angiogenesis inhibitor and tumor growth inhibitor capable of inhibiting activation of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 and transcription activity of hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha and vascular endothelial growth factor. A caffeic acid derivative is represented by the following formula 1. In formula 1, each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represents H or a C1-C5 alkyl group. An angiogenesis inhibitor comprises the caffeic acid derivative as an active ingredient.

Abstract: A composition comprising an extract of herbs or a herb-extract containing zeolite is provided to show excellent inhibitory effect on melanogenesis by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase in cells and be effective for improving skin elasticity and wrinkle improving effect through molecular mechanism such as inhibition of MMP-1 expression and inhibition of collagen degradation of skin with no cytotoxicity and skin side effects, thereby being safely applied to a cosmetic, a pharmaceutical and a food composition. A composition for improving skin conditions such as wrinkles, whitening or skin injury caused by UV comprises an extract of ginseng, an extract of Astragalus membranaceus, an extract of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, an extract of pharbitidis seed, an extract of green tea, an extract of aloe and zeolite. The composition is a cosmetic composition, a pharmaceutical composition or a food composition. Further, the cosmetic composition is a form selected from solution, paste, gel, cream, lotion, soap, surfactant-comprised cleansing, oil, powder foundation, wax foundation and spray.
