PURPOSE: A method for enhancing low temperature resistance or freezing tolerance using a gene encoding RNA-binding protein(OsGRP) is provided to ensure excellent germination rate at low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A plant with low temperature resistance or freezing tolerance is prepared by a recombinant vector containing Oriza sativa-derived OsGRP(Oryza sativa glycine-rich RNA-binding protein) gene with a base sequence of sequence number 1. The plant is Arabidopsis thaliana. A method for producing the plant with low temperature resistance or freezing tolerance comprises: a step of transforming a plant cells with the recombinant vector; and a step of redifferentiating a transgenic plant form the transformed plant cells.

PURPOSE: A promoter of Cucumis sativas-derived kinase gene and transgenic plant using the same are provided to enhance yield of various crops. CONSTITUTION: A promoter of Cucumis staivas-derived kinase gene comprises nucleotide sequence of sequence number 1. A recombinant expression vector has the promoter. The recombinant expression vector additionally contains a gene at downstream, encoding a target protein. The transformed microorganism is E.coli or Agrobacterium tumefaciens which is transformed with the recombinant expression vector. A transgenic plant is produced by transforming with the transformed microorganism. The transgenic plant has low temperature stress resistance. The plant is Arabidopsis thaliana.

The present invention relates to a method of producing a plant with an improved growth and seed production comprising a step for transforming the plant cells with a recombinant vector including a gene coding AtRBP1 protein derived from Arabidopsis thaliana and a plant produced by the method. The plant produced by the present invention shows that the growth rate and stem elongation are promoted and the seed production is increased; therefore, the present invention can be useful for producing plants with improved growth and seed production.
