    Abstract: PURPOSE: An amphiphilic gallor derivative is provided to actively inhibit the oxidation of LDL which is the cause of senile arteriosclerosis by a basic structure having a gallol structure which is a strong antioxidant active side and a long hydrocarbon side chain in the same molecule, thereby preventing diseases and providing curative power. CONSTITUTION: An amphiphilic gallol derivative is a 1,2,3-trihydroxy-4-alkylbenzene derivative including the last compound of the drawing. In the drawing, R is C_nH_(2n+1). A manufacturing method of the amphiphilic gallol derivative comprises: a step lithium ionizing 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene; a step alkylating the 1,2,3- trimethoxybenzene; a step obtaining 1,2,3-trimethoxy-4-alkylbenzene derivative the alkylation; a step demethoxylating the 1,2,3-trimethoxy-4-alkylbenzene; and a step obtaining the amphiphilic gallol derivative by the demethoxylation.
