    Abstract: PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition containing amphipathic gallol derivatives is provided to ensure antioxidation in a cell membrane with low irritation. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition contains an amphipathic gallol derivative of 1,2,3-trihydroxy- 4-alkylbenzene(T-OH_4R) derivatives as an active ingredient. The amphipathic gallol derivative is 4-pentylgallol, 4-pentyl-1,2,3-benzenetriol(PG), 4-pentadecylgallol(PDG), or 4-eicosylgallol, 4-eicosyl-1,2,3-benzenetriol(EG). The antibacterial composition has antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis; gram-negative bacteria including Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Bacillus subtilis; and pathogen including Helicobacter pylori.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An amphiphilic gallor derivative is provided to actively inhibit the oxidation of LDL which is the cause of senile arteriosclerosis by a basic structure having a gallol structure which is a strong antioxidant active side and a long hydrocarbon side chain in the same molecule, thereby preventing diseases and providing curative power. CONSTITUTION: An amphiphilic gallol derivative is a 1,2,3-trihydroxy-4-alkylbenzene derivative including the last compound of the drawing. In the drawing, R is C_nH_(2n+1). A manufacturing method of the amphiphilic gallol derivative comprises: a step lithium ionizing 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene; a step alkylating the 1,2,3- trimethoxybenzene; a step obtaining 1,2,3-trimethoxy-4-alkylbenzene derivative the alkylation; a step demethoxylating the 1,2,3-trimethoxy-4-alkylbenzene; and a step obtaining the amphiphilic gallol derivative by the demethoxylation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A gene delivery system for transferring a target gene to cells is provided to stably transfer the target gene to disease cells or tissues and to reduce toxicity in normal cells. CONSTITUTION: A gene delivery system for transferring a target gene to cells contains: biodegradable polyester amine nanofibers prepared by electrospinning a polymer solution containing polyethyleneimine(PEI) and polycaprolactone(PCL); and a target gene fixed on the nanofiber. The target gene is complexed with branched polyethylenimine cross-linked via disulfide bonds(ssPEI). The target gene is an angiogenic factor gene. A pharmaceutical composition for angiogenesis contains the gene delivery system. The pharmaceutical composition is used for preventing or treating coronary artery disease.
