Abstract: PURPOSE: A BAN(Body Area Network) wireless communication control method using a selective discovery is provided to prevent the waste of host resources by executing a discovery procedure for a host which supplies a service used by a coordinator. CONSTITUTION: A coordinator(100) transmits a discovery request frame including a selection reference profile. The coordinator receives a discovery response frame from a host(200) which supplies one or more services specified at a selection reference profile. The host calculates the selection reference profile and a service profile. The host determines whether the service is existed on the selection reference profile.
