본 발명은 BAN(Body Area Network) 무선 통신 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 선택적 디스커버리 기법이 적용된 BAN 무선 통신 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 선택 기준 프로파일을 포함하는 디스커버리 요청 프래임을 송신하는 단계; 및 선택 기준 프로파일에 특정된 서비스 중 적어도 하나를 제공하는 호스트로부터 디스커버리 응답 프래임을 수신하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 BAN 무선 통신 제어 방법을 개시한다.

본 발명은 캐시 기반 지그비 네트워크 검색 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 유저가 선택한 서비스를 특정하는 제 1 서비스 프로파일을 생성하고, 미리 저장된 지그비 네트워크 관련 정보 상에 상기 제 1 서비스 프로파일에 의해 특정된 서비스를 제공하는 서비스 제공 네트워크 관련 정보가 존재하는지 여부를 판단하며, 상기 판단 결과, 상기 서비스 제공 네트워크 관련 정보가 존재하지 않는 것으로 판단되면, 제 1 네트워크 검색 절차를 진행하고, 상기 서비스 제공 네트워크 관련 정보가 적어도 하나 존재하는 것으로 판단되면, 제 2 네트워크 검색 절차를 진행할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A personal area network subscription method using active scanning is provided to selectively execute the search of PAN by effectively using a service type. CONSTITUTION: A coordinator(3) receives a beacon request message including a first service type(S42). The coordinator determines whether the subscription of a device(2000) transmitting the beacon request message is allowed by using the first service type included in the received beacon request message(S43). When the permission of subscription is determined, the coordinator transmits beacon to the device transmitting the beacon request message(S45). PURPOSE: A system for operating a selective search-based host device, a method thereof, and a portable terminal supporting the same are provided to perform selective searches based on a user service for a portable terminal and surrounding host devices. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(100) or a specific host device generates a search request message to broadcast. The search request message includes service type information defining one or more specific service types. One or more host devices(200) mutually operate the device information and the service types included in the search request message. The host devices deliver a profile to the portable terminal or a specific host device as a response message according to the operational result.

PURPOSE: A cache-based service search method is provided to reduce resource consumption and time in a service search process by using a service information cache. CONSTITUTION: A beacon is received from a coordinator for set time and the beacon includes a service information version(S102). Coincidence between a pre-stored service information version and the service information version of the beacon is determined(S105). Service information is requested to the coordinator transmitting the beacon including the service information version not matched with the pre-stored service information version(S107). The service information and a response including the service information version are received in response to a service information request(S108). PURPOSE: A method for scanning an advertisement packet from a peripheral device is provided to prevent unnecessary name discovery by adding a peripheral device providing a service for an actual user to use among the peripheral devices to a list of discovery target names. CONSTITUTION: A peripheral device(200) is able to generate an advertisement packet(S21). A host(100) starts scanning, to discover the peripheral device(S22). The host receives the advertisement packet advertised by the peripheral device during the scanning time, and judges whether the received advertisement packet is valid(S23, S24).
