Abstract:
Provided are a bacterium-based microrobot for medical treatment, an operation method thereof, and a treatment method using the same. The bacterium-based microrobot can be propelled by the flagellum movement of bacteria, can be directed toward a target lesion by the ability of bacteria to recognize the lesion, can be monitored for how many the microrobot targets the lesion, and can directly or indirectly treat the lesion by the proliferation of bacteria through self-division in the lesion. The bacteria may be genetically manipulated to be resistant to immune responses and produce a material inhibitory of the growth of affected cells.

PURPOSE: A micro robot, an operating method thereof, and a treating method thereof are provided to directly treat lesion by using the perception and portability of bacteria. CONSTITUTION: A bacteria(200) is attached to a back side and a circumference of a microstructure(300). A picking unit(310) collects a blood sample in one side of the microstructure. A reaction agent unit(320) erupts reaction agent in order to observe the reaction of lesion and blood. A mixing unit mixes the blood and reaction agent. A diagnostic unit analyzes the mixture of the reaction agent and blood. A controlling unit determines processing results according to the result analyzed by the diagnostic unit. A drug unit sprays the drug according to the indication of the controller. An exhausting unit sprays the drug to the lesion.

CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical vaccine composition for fowl typhoid contains ppGpp(guanosine 5'-diphosphate 3'-diphosphate)-deletion mutant Salmonella Gallinarum. The strain contains inactivated relA gene, spoT gene encoding ppGpp synthase, or activated relA gene and spoT gene. A feed composition for preventing fowl typhoid contains the ppGpp-deletion mutant Salmonella Gallinarum. The composition is manufactured in the form of a tablet, pill, powder, granule, capsule, suspension, emulsion, or syrup.

Provided in the present invention is a composition to prevent and treat cancer which comprises attenuated salmonella species strain and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) to increase an anticancer effect of attenuated anaerobic bacteria for treatment. According to an embodiment of the present invention formed like the same, a composition to prevent and treat cancer, and a treatment method using the same increasing the anticancer effect of the attenuated salmonella strain can be provided.

PURPOSE: A tumor-specific imageable therapeutic agent is provided to monitor/diagnose cancer through image photographing. CONSTITUTION: A tumor imageable therapeutic agent contains ppGpp-deleted Samonella containing a cytotoxic gene and luminescence gene which are operatively linked to a inducible or tumor-specific promoter. The cytotoxic gene and luminescence gene are inserted to a plasmid or Salmonella gene. The luminescence gene is luciferase gene. The cytotoxic gene is ClyA gene. The tumor-specific promoter is amsB(asparaginase coding), pflE(pyruvate-formate-lyase activating enzyme coding), or pepT(tripeptidase coding). The inducible promoter is pBAD or pTET.
