    Abstract: PURPOSE: An inorganic material - aerogel composite and a manufacturing method of the inorganic material - aerogel complex are provided to improve workability by enhancing the density, and to improve workability, thermal insulation, the flame retardancy, heat resistance, and gas barrier property by adding resin. CONSTITUTION: An inorganic material - aerogel composite of sheet-like structure comprises 0.1 ~ 95 wt% of an inorganic material. The inorganic material - aerogel composite has 50 ~ 99 % of porosity, and 100 ~ 1000 m^2/ g of a specific surface area. The inorganic material and aerogel of are connected by chemical bond. The density of aerogel is 0.1 ~ 0.3 g / cm^3. A manufacturing method of the inorganic material - aerogel complex comprises the following steps: preparing a mixture which mixes a water glass solution which is ion-exchanged andan aqueous solution in which the inorganic materials are dispersed; gelating the mixture by adjusting pH; and forming the inorganic material - aerogel complex powder.
