    Abstract: Provided are an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin composition which shows an excellent appearance after plating without the deterioration of impact resistance, and a method for plating an ABS resin by using the composition. The ABS resin composition comprises (A) 25-45 parts by weight of a graft copolymer obtained by graft polymerizing a butadiene rubbery polymer whose gel content is 80-90 parts by weight, a cyanovinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; (B) 55-75 parts by weight of a copolymer of a cyanovinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; and (C) 0.05-1 parts by weight of a silicone-based impact modifier based on 100 parts by weight of (A)+(B). Preferably, the graft copolymer contains a butadiene rubber having a volume average diameter of 0.15-0.25 micrometers and a butadiene rubber having a volume average diameter of 0.28-0.35 micrometers.

    Abstract: Provided are an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin composition which is improved in impact strength and is remarkably enhanced in low gloss without deterioration of mechanical strength, and a plastic molded product prepared by using the composition. The acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin composition comprises 10-50 parts by weight of a graft acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene polymer; 50-90 parts by weight of heat resistant styrene-acrylonitrile; and 0.5-5 parts by weight of a crosslinked styrene-acrylonitrile. Preferably, the graft acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene polymer is obtained by copolymerizing 40-60 parts by weight of a polybutadiene rubber latex, 20-40 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound and 0.1-40 parts by weight of a vinyl cyano compound.

    Abstract: Provided are an ABS resin composition which shows an excellent appearance after plating without the deterioration of matter property such as impact resistance, and a method for plating an ABS resin prepared from the composition. The ABS resin composition comprises (A) 25-45 parts by weight of a graft copolymer prepared by graft-polymerizing a styrene-butadiene rubbery polymer, a cyanovinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; (B) 55-75 parts by weight of a copolymer prepared from a cyanovinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; and (C) 0.1-1 parts by weight of a silicone-based impact modifier based on 100 parts by weight of (A)+(B).     Abstract: An acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS) resin composition is provided to improve the low-temperature impact resistance while maintaining overall physical properties including heat resistance.
