Abstract:
The present invention relates to an organic thin film solar cell which includes a substrate, a first electrode layer, a blocking layer, a TiO_2 nano-layer, a photoactive layer, a hole capturing layer, and a second electrode layer which are successively stacked. The TiO_2 nano-layer includes a nano-rod, a nano-layer or a nano-wall with an orientation angle of at least 60 degrees. The organic thin film solar cell obtains high light conversion efficiency and efficiently transmits exciton by including the TiO2 nano-layer with an interval within a diffusion distance range of the exciton.

An organic thin film solar cell according to the present invention includes a substrate, a first electrode layer, a ZnO nanorod layer, a photoactive layer, a hole capturing layer, and a second electrode layer which are successively stacked. The ZnO nanorod layer includes a plurality of ZnO nanorods. A contact angle of the ZnO nanorod with the surface of the first electrode layer is 70 degrees or more. The organic thin film solar cell improves light conversion efficiency and efficiently transmits an exciton by including the ZnO nanorod layer which has an interval within a distance range to diffuse the excition.
