Abstract: The present invention relates to novel uses of Glehnia littoralis extract which controls prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition and health supplement for preventing or treating diseases related to PGE2 activities including Glehnia littoralis extracts or solvent fragments of the Glehnia littoralis extracts as active ingredient. The Glehnia littoralis extracts of the present invention promotes the increase of PGE2 intracell and extracell through suppression of 15-PGDH enzyme activities involved with the decomposition of PGE2, and effectively controls the activities of PGE2 by reducing expression of the same. Therefore, the Glehnia littoralis extracts of the present invention can be applied to drugs such as pharmaceutical composition and health supplement as a material to prevent or treat (improve) diseases related to PGE2 activities such as a cut, a burn, stomatitis, gastric ulcer, or gastritis so that the Glehnia littoralis extracts can have high value if being applied to the food and medical industries. More specifically, the Glehnia littoralis extracts of the present invention is a material derived from natural material and is safe without cytotoxicity so that the composition of the present invention having the same as the active ingredient can be safe for long-term usage.
Abstract translation: 本发明涉及控制前列腺素E2（PGE2），更具体地说，涉及用于预防或治疗与PGE2活性有关的疾病的药物组合物和健康补充剂，其中包括Glehnia littoralis提取物或Glehnia littoralis的溶剂片段 提取物作为活性成分。 本发明的小叶提取物通过抑制与PGE2分解相关的15-PGDH酶活性而促进PGE2细胞内和细胞外增殖，并通过降低PGE2的表达来有效控制PGE2的活性。 因此，本发明的格兰氏菌提取物可以用作药物组合物和保健品等药物，作为预防或治疗（改善）与PGE2活性相关的疾病如切割，烧伤，口腔炎，胃溃疡， 或胃炎，因此如果应用于食品和医疗行业，Glehnia littoralis提取物可以具有高价值。 更具体地说，本发明的小叶提取物是天然材料衍生物，安全无细胞毒性，因此与活性成分相同的本发明组合物长期使用是安全的。

Abstract: 본 발명은 해방풍 추출물의 PGE2 활성을 조절하는 신규 용도에 관한 것으로, 자세하게는 해방풍 조추출물 또는 해방풍 조추출물의 용매 분획물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 PGE2 활성 관련 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학조성물과 건강식품에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 해방풍 추출물은 PGE2의 분해에 관여하는 15-PGDH 효소 활성 억제를 통하여 세포내·외에서 PGE2 증가를 촉진시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 15-PGDH 자체의 발현 또한 감소시킬 수 있으므로 PGE2 활성을 효과적으로 조절할 수 있다. 따라서 본 발명의 해방풍 추출물은 창상, 화상, 구강궤양, 소화성궤양 또는 위염과 같은 PGE2 활성 관련 질환을 예방 또는 치료(개선)할 수 있는 소재로서 약리학적 조성물과 같은 의약품은 물론이고, 건강기능식품 등에 활용할 수 있어 식품산업 및 의약산업에 응용될 경우 그 가치가 매우 높을 것으로 기대된다. 특히 본 발명의 해방풍 추출물은 천연물로부터 유래된 물질로서, 세포독성 없이 안전성을 가지므로, 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 본 발명의 조성물은 장기적 사용에도 안전한 이점을 가진다.
