Abstract: Disclosed are a high crystalline TIOF2 and a method of preparing the same. According to the present invention, the method of preparing a high crystalline TIOF2 includes: a first step (1) of preparing a titanium dioxide precursor solution by mixing an alcohol and a titanium dioxide precursor; a second step (2) of adjusting a pH by adding an acid to a solution obtained through the first step; a third step (3) of gelling a mixture solution obtained through the second step; and a fourth step (4) of preparing TIOF2 by settling a resultant mixture obtained through the third step in a reactor and injecting a nitrogen trifluoride to the reactor to react with the resultant mixture. The present invention can provide a high crystalline TIOF2 with a uniform shape in a nano-size by even a simple process.

Abstract: A method for improving a hydrogen storing capacity is provided to improve the hydrogen storing capacity of a hydrogen storing medium by improving a surface using fluorine or metal doping. A method for improving a hydrogen storing capacity includes the steps of: injecting fluorine into a closed reactor and directly reacting the fluorine with a hydrogen storing medium under a predetermined condition, and doping a metal with the hydrogen storing medium; and performing the above-mentioned processes sequentially and reversely. The reaction of the hydrogen storing medium and the fluorine is performed under a condition of a normal temperature and the total reaction pressure of 1 atmospheric pressure. The partial pressure of the fluorine in the total reaction pressure is 0.01 to 0.5 atmospheric pressure. The metal includes at least one of NI, K, Pt, Pd, Ir, Co, Zn, W, Cr, and Mo.
