Abstract: An antistatic acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive characterized by comprising an acrylic copolymer (A) having a hydroxy group and an alkylene oxide chain in side chains, an ionic compound (B), a hardener (C), and an antioxidant (D). The antistatic pressure-sensitive adhesive is suitable for use as a pressure-sensitive adhesive for pressure-sensitive adhesive films for protecting the surface of an optical member. The pressure-sensitive adhesive solution before incorporation of the hardener has satisfactory storage stability. Abstract: Provided are an antistatic acrylic adhesive which is excellent in transparency and re-releasing property and shows a little static elasticity in case of releasing, and a protective film for an optical member using the adhesive. The antistatic acrylic adhesive comprises 100 parts by weight of a mixture comprising an acrylic copolymer having a hydroxyl group at a side chain and an alkylene oxide chain and optionally an acrylic copolymer having no alkylene oxide chain; 0.1-50 parts by weight of an ionic compound; and a curing agent. Preferably the acrylic copolymer having a hydroxyl group at a side chain and an alkylene oxide chain has a weight average molecular weight of 50,000-100,000; the ionic compound is an inorganic salt; and the curing agent is a trifunctional isocyanate compound and/or a multifunctional epoxy compound.
