Abstract: An antistatic acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive characterized by comprising an acrylic copolymer (A) having a hydroxy group and an alkylene oxide chain in side chains, an ionic compound (B), a hardener (C), and an antioxidant (D). The antistatic pressure-sensitive adhesive is suitable for use as a pressure-sensitive adhesive for pressure-sensitive adhesive films for protecting the surface of an optical member. The pressure-sensitive adhesive solution before incorporation of the hardener has satisfactory storage stability. The antistatic pressure-sensitive adhesive has excellent transparency, is almost colorless, has excellent strippability after application, and is less apt to cause electrification upon stripping. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008
