    Abstract: PURPOSE: A lighting system using solar cells is provided to improve the generation amount of solar cells by employing a low-power consumption solar tracking device which rotates a solar panel according to the position of the sun. CONSTITUTION: A lighting system(10) comprises a solar cell(100), a solar panel, a solar tracking device(300), a secondary battery(400), a lighting unit(500), a control unit(600), and an antenna(700). The solar tracking device, the secondary battery, and the control unit are installed inside a lamp post(12). The solar cell converts the solar energy into the electric energy. The solar tracking device rotates the solar panel. The secondary battery accumulates the electric energy converted by the solar cell. The lighting unit is turned on with the electric energy from the secondary battery or solar cell. The control unit controls the electric energy accumulated from the solar cell to the secondary battery. The antenna performs wireless communication with outside.
