    Abstract: A piezo-electric linear motor is provided to precisely move a mover in a desired distance by desired friction force by changing a long radius and a short radius of oval displacement through a frequency control. A piezo-electric linear motor includes a power unit(130), a piezo-electric substrate(100), a metallic elastic body(110), and a move(120). The power unit includes a first power source(131) and a second power source(132). The piezo-electric substrate includes a first piezo-electric device(101) and a second piezo-electric device(102) which receive voltages from the power unit. The metallic elastic body includes first and second elastic bodies(111,112), and a center projection portion(113). The mover is in contact with the center projection portion of the metallic elastic body. A piezo-electric actuator is formed by connecting the piezo-electric substrate to the metallic elastic body. A buffering support is provided at a side opposed to the mover. The buffering support guides and supports the movement of the mover, and buffers a shock generated at the time when the center projection portion is in contact with the mover.
