Abstract: PURPOSE: An augmented reality system of a printed matter and a video and a method thereof are provided to transceive a letter on offline and transceive a video which is linked to the letter. CONSTITUTION: A picture matching video registration unit stores identification information and a video file in database. AR(Augmented Reality) units(31-36) extract a picture area from a photographed image. The AR units calculate identification information for search including a feature value of a picture. The AR searches for identification information from the database. The AR unit displays the searched video on a picture area.
