Abstract:
A tactile sensor utilizing the micro-bending property of optical fiber and a manufacturing method thereof, and a distributed load measuring apparatus using the same are provided to measure the distribution of external load by measuring change in the light intensity generated in the tactile sensor including intersecting optical fibers. A tactile sensor utilizing the micro-bending property of optical fiber comprises a first optical fiber(10a) consisting of core in which the light passes and cladding that surrounds the core, a second optical fiber(10b) arranged in the orthogonal direction on the first optical fiber, and silicon rubber(41) molding the first and the second optical fiber meeting at right angle.
