    Abstract: PURPOSE: A novel polypeptide which specifically binds to MD-2 protein is provided to design a therapeutic agent protein for treating sepsis using VLR scaffolding protein. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide which specifically binds to MD-2(myeloid differentiation protein-2) protein fused N-terminal of internalin B protein, VLR(vriable lymphocyte receptor)-modified repetitive module, and C-terminal of VLR protein. The polypeptide is sequence number 2, 3, 4, or 5. A repetitive module with high stability through consensus design is a repetitive module of sequence formula 1(LTNLxxLxLxxNQLQSLPxGVFDK). A method for preparing the polypeptide comprises: a step of preparing a vector containing a nucleic acid encoding the polypeptide; a step of introducing the vector to host cells; and a step of collecting polypeptides from the host cells.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for designing an LRR(Leucine Rich Repeat) fusion protein is provided to design an LRR fusion protein by using the degree of sequence similarity of a connected repetition module included in respectively different LRR proteins. CONSTITUTION: A pair of successive repetition modules is selected from LRR family protein based on the calculated similarity value. A pair of successive repetition modules indicates the highest similarity value. A structure of the LRR family protein is arranged in the successive repetition modules of the LRR family protein. The structure of the fusion protein is expected. A sequence is optimized based on the expected fusion protein structure.

    Abstract: The apparatus gets the heat accumulator to reach the target heat capacity at the time of finishing the supply of the electric power at midnight by controlling a heat accumulation start time, thus eliminating the unneccessary electric power loss. The apparatus conprises a thermocouple (1) generating an electric signal corresponding to a temperature of heat accumulation material, an amplifier (2), a compensator (3), a circuit determining the time neccessary to reach the target heat capacity by computing the difference between a remaining capicity and a target, a circuit (6) operating a timer function by generating a voltage varying with a uniform velocity, and a circuit determining the accummulation start time.
