    Abstract: A method for preparing a surface-modified microbead, a method for preparing a microbead array chip, and a method for checking the disease specific antigen by using the microbead array chip are provided to develop the smart system using elastin-like polypeptide (ELP). A method for preparing a surface-modified microbead comprises the steps of synthesizing the DNA base sequence by PCR based on the [(VGVPG)14(KGVPG)] trimer amino acid sequence to make an ELP expression recombinant vector, and transforming it to E. coli BLR(DE3) to make the biosynthesized ELP; and immobilizing the ELP on the surface of a microbead(40).
