    Abstract: A humanized antibody against a surface antigen pre-S1 of Hepatitis B virus(HBV) is provided to secure the antigen binding capacity similar to that of a mouse monoclonal antibody and have significantly decreased immunity inducing capacity in human due to having more humanized amino acid residue, thereby being usefully used for preventing and treating HBV infection. A humanized antibody against a surface antigen pre-S1 of HBV is characterized in that an amino acid sequence of a heavy chain region is described as SEQ ID : NO. 10 or an amino acid sequence of a light chain region is described as SEQ ID : NO. 20. An expression vector comprises a gene coding an amino acid sequence described as SEQ ID : NO. 19, a gene coding an amino acid sequence described as SEQ ID : NO. 20, and a chimera antibody coding an invariable region of a human IgG antibody. A composition for preventing and treating Hepatitis B comprises a chimera antibody expressed by the expression vector. A kit for detecting HBV comprises the antibody.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An antibody which specifically binds to TIMP-1 with N-linked beta(1,6) branch or antigen-binding fragment thereof are provided to obtain information of metastasis or progression of cancer. CONSTITUTION: An antibody or epitope fragment thereof specifically binds to TIMP-1(tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1) with N-linked beta(1,6) branch. The antibody and antigen-binding fragment thereof also specifically binds to TIMP-1 further comprising sialic acid at the end of N-linked beta(1,6) branch sugar chain. A method for preparing the antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof comprises: a step of culturing host cells which is transformed by a recombinant vector; and a step of expressing the antibody and antigen-binding fragment thereof in the host cells. A composition for diagnosing cancer metastasis or progression contains the antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof as an active ingredient.
