수신장치는 수신된 다중 경로 신호 즉, 모바일 신호와 상기 모바일 신호에 결합된 지상파 신호의 데이터 영역 내에 삽입되어 있는 트레이닝 신호를 통하여 신호의 전송 채널을 추정하고, 결정데이터를 통하여 기 등화된 신호를 이용하여 수신되는 모바일 신호와 상기 모바일 신호에 결합된 지상파 신호에 대응하는 송신 신호를 검출하여 전송 채널을 추정한다. 그리고 채널 추정 값을 토대로 트레이닝 신호에 대응하는 모바일 신호 데이터와 지상파 신호 데이터에 존재하는 왜곡을 보상한다.

An apparatus and method for transmitting MPEG-4 data synchronized to MPEG-2 data is disclosed. The apparatus for transmitting MPEG-4 data synchronized to MPEG-2 data includes: an object separation unit for extracting MPEG-4 object data from MP4 data, separating meta information from the object data, and generating program information and synchronization information; a conversion unit for converting the MPEG-4 object data to MPEG-4 packets of which data structure is the same as that of MPEG-2 data, based on the program information and synchronization information; and a multiplexing unit for multiplexing the MPEG-4 packets with the MPEG-2 data.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to synchronize the meta data to the multimedia contents so as to transmit the meta data, and use the multimedia contents in a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia contents writing unit(100) generates multimedia contents and edits the generated multimedia contents. A multimedia contents format converting unit(200) compresses the multimedia contents, converts the format of the multimedia contents into a synchronization format and a transmission format, and outputs the converted format of the multimedia contents. A meta data writing unit(300) generates meta data for writing the multimedia contents and edits the generated meta data. A meta data format converting unit(400) converts the meta data into a binary code, converts the format of the meta data into a synchronization format and the transmission format, and outputs the converted format of the meta data. A multiplexing unit(500) multiplexes the multimedia contents format and the meta data format output from the multimedia contents format converting unit(200) and the meta data format converting unit(400) respectively as one stream, and outputs the multiplexed one stream.

PURPOSE: A forward error correction encoding/decoding method, digital broadcasting reception apparatus and decoding method thereof are provided to offer low-rank compatibility by applying encoding/decoding to payload after dividing header of packet stream. CONSTITUTION: A header separating unit(210) divides a first header part from a packet stream. A block interleaver(221) performs a block interleaving of a first payload. In order that a parity packet according to the preset encoding rate is included, a systematic encoder(223) encodes the block-interleaved first payload part. A block deinterleaver(225) generates a second payload part by block deinterleaving of the encoded first payload part. A header coupling unit(240) unites the first header part, and the second header part and the second payload portion.

A shopping supporting service method using 3D rendering technology and a system thereof are provided to compare 3D modeling information, which each enterprise provides concerning the goods in which a user wants, with the product information which the user produces. A shopping supporting service method using 3D rendering technology comprises a step of inquiring goods through an input unit and a step of transmitting goods inquiring information by a user. The step of inquiring goods through an input unit includes a step of providing additional information indicating a feature of the goods and the modeling information for rendering the goods, a step of 3D rendering the goods in virtual space by using the modeling information and the additional information and A step of deciding purchasing the goods according to a rendering result. The step of transmitting goods inquiring information by a user includes a step of transmitting the additional information indicating a feature of the goods and the modeling information for rendering the goods to the user, a step of receiving the information about purchasing goods with the additional information and the modeling information and a step of providing the information about purchasing goods to a seller.

A method and a system for providing a portal service using location based grouping services is provided to offer accurate contents and optimized information between a terminal device corresponding to a specified condition and a user terminal device, and to enable communication and sharing of bidirectional and active information. A client unit(10) comprises a plurality of WIBRO(Wireless Broadband) terminal devices. An LBS(Location Based Service) server(11) provides a location based service. A DB(120) stores user information including distance, a specified condition and terminal device data. A grouping service server(12) provides grouping services. A contents providing server(13) provides portal services. The plural WIBRO terminal devices(100) transmit specified conditions for match making and server login to the DB. And the WIBRO terminal device executes various kinds of contents provided by the content providing server.

PURPOSE: A dialogue type broadcasting terminal system is provided to maintain compatibility and improve contents efficiency by constructing a bi-directional dialogue type broadcasting environment with an MPEG(moving picture expert group)-4/7 technology. CONSTITUTION: A demultiplexer receives an MPEG-2 transport stream data from a dialogue type broadcasting terminal system and divides the data for each content. Several first storing units temporarily store the demultiplexed data. A processor processes the user's requirement for the contents. Several processor/decoders process and decode the demultiplexed data. Several second storing units temporarily store the processed and decoded data. A controller controls the decoding process and performs re-writing if there is a change in the data stored in the second storing units. A video synthesis/output unit synthesizes and outputs a video image by receiving the data stored in the second storing units. An audio output unit receives an audio data stored in the second storing units.

The present invention discloses technologies of packet level forward error correction encoding and decoding method and device, decoding method of digital broadcasting receiving system and digital broadcasting receiving device. According to such technologies, the forward error correction encoding method comprises the steps of separating a first header unit from an input packet stream; encoding a first payload unit of the separated packet stream according to the predetermined encoding rate to generate a second payload unit; generating a second header unit according to the encoding rate; and combining the first header unit, the second header unit and the second payload unit.
