Abstract: PURPOSE: A ground-wave data broadcasting receiver that provides interactive service and a reception data processing method using the receiver are provided to receive broadcasting signals including interactive contents as well as video and audio signals to offer an interactive function to users. CONSTITUTION: A ground-wave data broadcasting receiver includes a data broadcasting receiving unit(201), an audio output unit(202), a network interface(203), a remote controller(204), and a hardware resource manager(205). The data broadcasting receiving unit classifies an RF signal inputted to the data broadcasting receiver into a video signal, an audio signal, contents and broadcasting-related information and demodulates the video and audio signals. The audio output unit receives and decodes the audio signal to output the signal to a speaker. The network interface downloads a software module through the Internet to upgrade the data broadcasting receiver. The remote controller forms items inputted/selected by a user in a predetermined format through a remote control. The hardware resource manager drives the data broadcasting receiving unit, audio output unit, network interface and remote controller.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A dialogue type broadcasting terminal system is provided to maintain compatibility and improve contents efficiency by constructing a bi-directional dialogue type broadcasting environment with an MPEG(moving picture expert group)-4/7 technology.
