Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for representing a three-dimensional sound field and an apparatus thereof are provided to generate a speaker signal using an acoustic particle velocity, thereby preventing the speaker signal from yielding a problem of excessive output energy depending on the number of acoustic particles or the incidence angle of a sound field. CONSTITUTION: A method for representing a three-dimensional sound field comprises as follows. A transfer function generator generates a transfer function in a matrix form by using inner radial direction components and sound source values among velocity vector components of acoustic particles(S610). A cost function generator generates a cost function using a target velocity vector and a represented velocity vector(S620). A speaker signal generator generates a speaker signal which minimizes the cost using the transfer function and the cost function(S630). Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for reproducing a 3 dimensional sound field are provided to improve robustness of the apparatus by evenly distributing energy of source strength. CONSTITUTION: A control region is determined based on a wavelength of an excitation frequency(101). One or more candidate control points are arranged on the control region based on a loud speaker array(102). A non-uniform control point corresponding to a non-uniform loudspeaker is determined from the candidate control points(103). The non-uniform control point to be added to the control point is determined(104).
