Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for receiving data by a communication system and a method thereof are provided to quickly and stably receive high-capacity multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: A parser(110) divides multimedia data into a plurality of tokens. Decoder 1(130), decoder 2(150), and decoder 3(170) receive input tokens corresponding to the tokens respectively. Decoder 1, decoder 2, and decoder 3 decode the multimedia data. Scheduler 1(120), scheduler 2(140), and scheduler 3(160) schedule the tokens. Scheduler 1, scheduler 2, and scheduler 3 transmit the input tokens to decoder 1, decoder 2, and decoder 3.
