Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for recognizing an engine driver are provided to evaluate the consciousness of the engine driver by measuring and analyzing a brain wave of the engine driver. CONSTITUTION: A brain wave measuring unit(100) measures a brain wave signal of an engine driver when a train runs and includes a brain wave measurer(110), an A/D converter(120), a signal transmitter(130), and a first controller(140). The brain wave measurer measures the brain wave signal of the engine driver. The A/D converter converts the analog brain wave signal into a digital brain signal. The signal transmitter transmits the brain wave signal to a data process unit(200). The first controller controls the transmission of the brain wave signal from the signal transmitter. The data process unit analyzes the consciousness of the engine driver by collecting the brain wave signal from the brain wave measurer.
