    Abstract: PURPOSE: A GPS relative positioning method using chained moving base stations is provided to measure a position with high accuracy in case a target moving station is far from a fixed base station. CONSTITUTION: One or more moving base stations are set in specific positions between a fixed base station and a target moving station(S100). The relative position of a first base station closest to the fixed base station is obtained through relative positioning to the fixed base station(S200). The first moving station is determined as a first moving base station, the relative position of a second moving station is obtained through relative positioning to the first moving base station, and the relative positions of a second moving base station to an n-th moving base station and the relative position of a target moving station are successively obtained in the same way(S300). The absolute position of the target moving station is calculated by adding the relative position of the target moving station to the fixed base station to the absolute position of the fixed base station(S400).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A global positioning system base tractor-trailer angle of refraction computation system for the jackknife accident prevention and a method of calculation are provided to be utilized to prevent jackknife accident by calculating a refraction angle between a trailer and a tractor. CONSTITUTION: A global positioning system base tractor-trailer angle of refraction computation system for the jackknife accident prevention comprises a first satellite navigation receiver(111), a second satellite navigation receiver(112), a third satellite navigation receiver(113) and a refractive angle calculation unit. The first satellite navigation receiver is installed in a first location(A) of a tractor(10). The second satellite navigation receiver is installed in the tractor or a trailer(20). The third satellite navigation receiver is installed in the trailer. The third satellite navigation receiver is installed in the third location(C) which rearward falls from the second position at a regular interval. The refractive angle calculation unit produces the angle of refraction between the trailer and tractor.
