Abstract:
A system and a method for transmitting a large capacity message in a wireless communication environment are provided to lessen the load of a network by shortening communication time in a wireless communication environment, to reduce service processing time by reducing the number of communication attempts, and to enhance QoS(Quality of Service) by increasing service success rates in inferior communication areas. A system for transmitting a large capacity message in a wireless communication environment is comprised of a terminal(30), a message server(40), and a communication server(50). The terminal(30) comprises a message client(32) which executes communication by using the HTTP and downloads or uploads messages. The message server(40) provides a large capacity messaging service to the terminal(30). In case the message client(32) makes a message transmission service request, the message server(40) carries out connection creation processing and request message processing in sequence. The communication server(50) executes protocol conversion between the message server(40) and a server application, and establishes a service path.
Abstract:
A system and a method for segmenting/transmitting large-capacity messaging data in a wireless communication environment are provided to lessen the load of a system and improve the quality of message transmission by segmenting and transmitting a large-capacity message so as to retransmit only the remaining portion, without transmitting the whole message again, in case a failure occurs during message transmission. A system for segmenting and transmitting large-capacity messaging data in a wireless communication environment comprises a terminal, a message server, a communication server, and a server application. The terminal comprises a terminal application and a messaging client. The message server consists an HTTP front, a message server core, and a communication server adapter. The HTTP front executes an HTTP protocol parsing and generating function for message service requests and responses. The message server core serves as a core for an actual messaging service. The communication server adapter is provided to process different protocols between the message server and the communication server when the message server delivers data to the communication server as a messaging service result. The communication server is a protocol conversion and service route setup server. The server application provides a message response to a message request.

본 발명은 무선통신환경에서 대용량 메시지 전송시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 메시지 서버에서 한 번의 HTTP 요청 및 응답으로 메시지 전송이 가능하도록 함으로써 통신횟수를 줄여서 무선통신환경에서 대용량 메시징이 가능하도록 한 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 무선통신환경에서 대용량 메시지 전송시스템은, HTTP를 이용해서 통신을 수행하여 메시지를 다운로드 받거나 업로드 하는 메시지 클라이언트(32)가 구비된 단말기(30)와; 상기 단말기(30)에 대용량 메시징 서비스를 제공하는 서버로서, 메시지 클라이언트(32)에서 메시지 전송의 서비스를 요청한 경우에 연결생성 처리와 요청 메시지 처리를 순서대로 진행하는 메시지 서버(40); 및 상기 메시지 서버(40)와 서버 어플리케이션(70) 간의 프로토콜을 변환하고 서비스 경로를 설정하는 통신서버(50)를 포함한다. 무선통신환경, 대용량, 메시지, 메시지 서버, JMS
