Abstract: 본 발명은 하이브리드 전기자동차용 듀얼모드 동력전달장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 종래 하이브리드 전기자동차용 동력전달계의 단점을 보완하는 전기-유성기어-클러치식 동력전달계에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 다른 듀얼모드 동력전달장치는 2개의 모터(102,104), 이웃된 링기어(112c,114c,116c)끼리 연결되고 이웃된 캐리어(112b,114b,116b)끼리 연결되는 3개의 유성기어세트(112,114,116), 엔진(122) 및 2개의 클러치(132,134)를 포함하고;
상기 제1모터(102)는 제3선기어(116a)와, 엔진(122)은 제1선기어(112a)와 연결되고, 제2모터(104)는 제1링기어(112c)와, 구동축(200)은 제2선기어(114a)와 연결되며, 상기 제2링기어(114c)와 제3링기어(116c) 사이에는 제1클러치(132)가, 제3링기어(116c)와 트랜스액슬 하우징(140) 사이에는 제2클러치(134)가 연결되는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: A dual mode power train for a hybrid electric vehicle and a method of operating the same are provided to secure wider range of shift ratio where efficiency of the power train is high, and to operate the power train more efficiently according to change of shift ratio.
