Abstract: 본 발명은 용탕자동공급시스템의 용탕스토퍼장치에 관한 것으로서, 용탕의 응고를 방지하기 위한 히터장치에서 스토퍼 및 용탕 주변, 전기히터 주변을 이중으로 단열 차폐하도록 구성되는 개선된 히터커버를 가지는 용탕스토퍼장치에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명에서는 공기단열층이 형성되도록 외부커버의 내측으로 내부커버가 이격 배치되는 이중 커버 구조가 채용됨으로써, 히터장치의 단열성능이 극대화될 수 있고, 이로써 용탕의 응고 현상이 효과적으로 방지될 수 있게 된다. 또한 히터의 풀부하 가동을 줄임으로써 히터의 수명 연장이 가능해지고, 현 설치공간 내에서 단열 문제점이 해소되면서 설비의 내구성 확보 및 용탕의 저온 관리가 가능해지며, 이에 에너지 소모량 절감, 주조비용 및 원가 절감, 소재 품질관리 용이성 등의 여러 이점이 있게 된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A molten-metal stopper device with enhanced insulating performance is provided to ensure the insulating performance of a heater device since there is no size enlargement of an electrical heater or a heater cover or corresponding spatial constraints. CONSTITUTION: A molten-metal stopper device(140) with enhanced insulating performance comprises a stopper(141), an actuator, a heater device, and a heater cover. The stopper selectively opens/closes the molten-metal inlet(121) of a molten-metal supply pipe connected to an insulating path. The actuator operates the stopper. The heater is arranged to protect the stopper and prevents molten metal from coagulating. The heater cover is installed in order to surround the heater(149) of the heater device to shield heat of the heater. The heater cover comprises an outer cover(146) and an inner coverer.
