    Abstract: PURPOSE: A torque and output controlling method of an induction motor is provided to increase operating range by varying a boundary point of static torque range and static output range. CONSTITUTION: A torque and output controlling method of an induction motor adjusts a boundary point of static torque range and static output range by varying a torque portion current value. The torque portion current value is maintained as a constant from initiation of the induction motor to any velocity point. The torque portion current value is adjusted by varying the torque portion current value from the velocity point to approach a rated torque portion current value. The boundary point is adjusted correspondingly to the adjusted torque current value. The torque portion current may be initially maintained as high and decreased inversely proportional to the velocity. The torque portion current may be increased to maintain a constant output over a reference velocity.

CONSTITUTION: A generator power restricting method comprises a step(S120,S180) of calculating a maximum power value and a minimum power value for the generator; a step(S140,S150,S200,S210) of setting the calculated maximum power value as a maximum value, and the calculated minimum power value as a minimum value; and a step(S220) of maintaining the power of generator between the minimum power value and the maximum power value. The step of calculating the maximum power value is performed by adding the discharge restricting value of the battery and the output power value of the motor. The step of calculating the minimum power value is performed by adding the charge restricting value of the battery and the output power value of the motor.
