    Abstract: PURPOSE: An active air flap device for a vehicle is provided to prevent damage to vehicle components due to an air flap by compulsorily opening the air flap when a trouble occurs. CONSTITUTION: An active air flap device comprises an air flap, a thermoelectric element(40), a heat transmission bar(60), and a variable length member(70). The air flap is rotatably installed in a duct with a medium of a linkage. The air flap comprises a loader(22) connected to the linkage. The thermoelectric element is fixed to a housing(30) installed in the duck. The heat transmission bar is installed inside the housing in order to connect one end of the heat transmission bar to the thermoelectric element. The heat transmission bar transmits heat when operating the thermoelectric element. The variable length member is installed to be connected to the loader and the heat transmission bar. The variable length member supplies a rotary force to the loader while varying the length depending on the temperature changes in the heat transmission bar.

    Abstract: A bumper air bag structure is provided to improve safety by protecting both the upper body and lower body of a pedestrian, and to improve assembling efficiency. A bumper air bag structure includes an air bag housing(10), a hinge(12), an opening, an air bag module(20), a detection unit(40), and a rotation unit(50). The air bag housing is rotatably coupled in a front bumper of a vehicle by the hinge. The hinge is installed on a front lower end of the air bag housing. The opening is formed on an upper part of the air bag housing so that the air bag module is deployed out of the air bag housing through the opening. The air bag module consists of an air bag case(24) and an air bag chamber(22). The air bag chamber is expanded by gas introduced when a collision occurs. The air bag case stores the air back chamber normal times. The detection unit is installed on a front surface of the air bag housing. The rotation unit rotates the air bag housing on the hinge for the bumper.

CONSTITUTION: An active air flap device for a vehicle comprises a duct, an actuator, a loader(13), a rotary shaft device(20), a first air flap, a second air flap, and a pyrogen(30). The loader is rotatably installed with respect to a duct with the power of an actuator. The rotary shaft device is installed with respect to the duct to be axially rotatable. The rotary shaft is flexibly rotatable in the front and rear direction of a vehicle when being applied by an external force. The first and second air flaps are joined to the rotary shaft device to be separated in the left and right direction of the vehicle. The first and second air flaps open or close the duct along with the rotation of the rotary shaft device. The pyrogen receives a shock when the vehicle flexibly rotates in the front and rear direction of the vehicle for self-generating heat through a chemical reaction.
