    Abstract: PURPOSE: A control method of a photosensitive room lamp for a vehicle is provided to adjust the illumination by adding illumination sensor and handle lock switch signals, and to use the power of a battery efficiently and find the door handle easily after turning off the engine by lighting the room lamp according to surrounding condition. CONSTITUTION: The intensity of surrounding illumination is detected by an illumination sensor, and an ignition switch is detected to be turned on or off if surroundings are dark. The door switch is decided to be turned on or off if the ignition switch is turned on. A room lamp is turned on in turning the door switch on, and the door switch is decided to be turned on or off in operating the room lamp. The room lamp is turned on for 2 seconds in turning off the door switch, and turned off in 4 seconds by photosensitizing. The driver finds the door handle easily by automatically turning on the room lamp of the vehicle in drawing a key out after parking.
