Abstract: A thrust bearing is provided to accelerate the formation of oil layer in the bearing entirely while securing smooth rotation of a turbo shaft, thereby enhancing load support capacity of the bearing. A thrust bearing(1) comprises an assembly hole(1a) in which a rotation shaft is inserted, an oil gallery(3) which is recessed around the assembly hole, and oil pockets(2) which is formed along the oil gallery to receive oil. The oil in the oil pocket helps the rotation of a turbo shaft of a turbocharger by forming an oil layer between the bearing and the turbo shaft.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A surge control device of a turbo charger engine is provided to prevent turbocharger surging by increasing the operation range and bypass flow by selectively operating first and second anti-surge valves in the middle/low speed region and the middle/high speed region. CONSTITUTION: A surge control device of a turbo charger engine comprises a turbocharger, a throttle valve position detection unit(10), an engine RPM detection unit(20), an controller(30), and an anti-surge valve. The turbocharger provides an intake manifold with the air compressed by the pressure of exhaust gas. The throttle valve position detection unit detects the opening and closing of a throttle valve. The engine RPM detection unit detects the rotating state of the engine.
